After graduating from Tulane Law School, I started my career as an attorney in New York City litigating antitrust and financial fraud cases for a decade. In Lehman Brothers Securities Litigation, I took several key depositions, including the deposition of the Chief Operating Officer. I participated in lengthy negotiations of a global settlement involving one of the feeder funds in the Bernie Madoff ponzi scheme. In Freight Forwarders Antitrust Litigation, I conducted several interviews in Germany of employees of a cooperating co-conspirator.
Upon returning to New Orleans, I worked for the City of New Orleans as the city attorney for the Department of Public Works and Capital Projects Administration. During my time in the City Attorney's Office, I handled every one of the City's construction contracts and assisted with construction litigation and public bid disputes. I ultimately returned to the private sector where I practiced business, construction, appellate, and employment law at two local law firms. In 2018, I fulfilled my career-long goal of starting my own firm.
Since starting IAS LAW LLC, I have successfully resolved issues and provided legal services to clients in appellate, business, civil rights, construction, education, employment, real estate, and other matters.
